2. What data we process and why
- Property enquiries: when you send a property form, we process your name, phone number, message, property reference, language, the page from which you write to us and where you came from (an ad or a link). We use them to answer your enquiry and, if you ask us to, arrange viewings and give you information about that or other properties. This data is necessary to answer you.
- Job applications: when you apply, we process your name, phone number, email address, CV and cover letter to assess your application.
- Email, telephone and WhatsApp: if you contact us through these channels, we process the data you provide to assist you.
- Browsing and security: our hosting provider records technical data from each visit, such as IP address, browser and requested pages. We use it to keep the website running and secure and to prevent abuse, for example by limiting the number of form submissions.
- Statistics: only if you accept, Google Analytics measures visits and pages viewed using cookies (see the “Cookies and storage in your browser” section).
We do not send marketing communications without your consent. We do not make automated decisions or build profiles with your data.
3. Legal basis
- Enquiries: taking pre-contractual measures at your request (Article 6.1.b GDPR).
- Job applications: taking steps at your request before a possible employment contract (Article 6.1.b GDPR).
- If we reach an agreement: performance of the contract and compliance with our legal obligations (Article 6.1.b and 6.1.c GDPR).
- Browsing and security: our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and running (Article 6.1.f GDPR).
- Statistics: your consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.
4. How long we keep your data
We keep your enquiry data while we deal with it and for up to 12 months after our last contact. If we reach an agreement, we keep it for the periods required by law. Technical browsing data is kept for a limited time and statistics data for no more than 14 months. We keep job applications for five years from receipt, or until you ask us to erase them, if sooner.
5. Who receives your data
We do not sell your data or disclose it to third parties, except where required by law. These providers process it on our behalf:
- Kommo: the management system where we store enquiries and job applications, including CVs.
- Vercel: the website host, which receives technical data from each visit and form data when it is submitted.
- Google: our email service and, only with your consent, Google Analytics.
In addition, when you use some functions your browser connects directly to other services, which process your data under their own policies:
- The results map downloads maps from the OpenStreetMap Foundation, which receives your IP address.
- If you load the map of a property’s area, you connect to Google Maps, which may use cookies.
- If you write to us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) processes the data in that conversation.
6. International transfers
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States or the United Kingdom. In those cases, the transfer is based on a European Commission adequacy decision, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or on the standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.
7. Your rights
You can ask us to access, rectify or erase your data, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in portable form, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us at realty.bin@gmail.com and state which right you want to exercise; we may ask you to prove your identity. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version here with its date.
This text is available in several languages. If there is any difference between versions, the Spanish version prevails.
